Love the way this mascara looks on, gives me tons of lash volume. But won't come off in the shower as easily as it's brother- the "lash tubes". I've always been into trying the newest beauty products, especially for mascara. I have tried the double ended mascaras in the past from a few of the drugstore brands, but never liked them.I was definitely interested to hear about the lash boosting mascara from L'Oreal. Not because it was double sided, but because of the new lash boosting technology, which is taking it's cue from the new prescription latisse and jumping on the "we can make your lashes darker, fuller and longer!" bandwagon. Unfortunately, it's really done nothing for me. After using it for about 3 weeks, I'm pretty much just irritated by it. My lashes aren't any different, and I still hate the double ended, 2 coat idea. I have no idea why the first coat is white, and then adding in the 2nd coat of black just turns it into a clumpy mess, unless you get it juuuust right. My personal issue is that if you let you lashes dry with the white on it, they become stiff and hard to apply any... The white stuff you apply to your lashed to "boost" them is clumpy and sometimes not covered by the black mascara (which is also clumpy). Doing my lashes takes way longer than it should because I'm constantly trying to break up and remove clumps. The only reason I keep using this mascara is because I paid so much for it. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but I'll never buy this mascara again. |
