Ideal for sculpting hedges, the HTS-2530PF is powered by Tanaka's PureFire low emission engine and features 30"" single-sided blades.

On March 1, 1998, Tanaka became the first two-stroke manufacturer to certify to the stringent C.A.R.B. Tier II emissions regulations. While most other manufacturers tried to fight the standard and say that it could not be done with two-stroke, Tanaka did it. Today, all Tanaka products comply with EPA phase 2 regulations and all Tanaka product groups are C.A.R.B Tier II compliant.

This review is from: Tanaka HTS-2530PF Commercial Grade Gas Powered Hedge Trimmer 30-Inch Single-Sided Blades 24cc 1.3 HP 2-Stroke (CARB Compliant) (Lawn & Patio) This trimmer was very expensive ($400+). It has low emissions, starts very eaily, and does an outstanding job of trimming. The "jaws" are wider than most trimmers so it can handle quite a range of shrubbery.
