It goes on like a thin gel that quickly dries to a weightless coating. The mint flavor is only present at first, so I'm not tasting or smelling it all day, which is a big plus for me. It doesn't smear if I rub my lips, but will fade a little over the day, and a bit more when I eat or drink, but it still shows even color and actually looks more natural when it's faded some. It goes on a dark brown-red straight from the bottle, but I found I could make it a lot lighter by touching my fingertip to the sponge applicator and putting it on with my finger. I received this product this weekend, and was impressed with the quick shipping and delightful packaging. I bought this stain in Zinnia. It turns a lovely wine/brown on me, and looks striking with my very fair skin and dark hair. It goes on like a gel or gloss, but dries to a matte finish. It honestly lasted on me for over eight hours, and even after washing my face last night, I woke up with a good bit of stain still on my lips. This stain does not dry out your lips, like other stains. I've tried it with one of their pencils today, and this gives my lips a nice bit of sheen. Love this product, and I'll be back!! |
