Especially since I haven't been able to find this size in any regular store. I have short and very fine hair and this model works extremely well for me. I have no idea why, because I consider it to be much better than the hot-air types. The Helen of Troy 1.5 inch barrel is the best I've found of an almost extinct breed. Order it now. This curling brush replaces another one (identical) which I had ruined. I find it easy to use and durable. Having had other similar products, I particularly appreciate the way the switch is positioned - on many other models it's easy to turn off the brush inadvertently while using it.
