--Seems to work fine.
--Has built in safety covers for each plug.
--Plugs are spaced far enough apart to accomodate AC adapter bricks without blocking other plugs.
--2 always-on plugs are useful when you have a Tivo or similar that needs to stay on to record shows.
--The cord management feature doesn't seem that useful
--The remote switch works, but doesn't seem built that well--you press it and it clicks, but the click doesn't always coincide with actuation. I mean, it clicks but you have to press it harder before it actually works.
--There's a backup switch on the power strip itself, in case you lose the remote or it runs out of batteries

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for turning off EVERYTHING and save $$$, September 29, 2011

I've actually bought 4 of these units. The first one was so nice I ordered 3 more. I am completely satisfied with my purchases. The switch is a nice feature so you don't have to dig around behind your computer or TV to turn everything off. Most electronic items draw quite a bit of power in stand-by mode. This keeps you from wasting all that electricity by completely cutting the power to 6 of the 8 outlets. The other two outlets are "always-on" and not affected by the switch. The switch is very nice and well-thought-out. It has a handy mounting bracket to mount it anywhere.

Get this item and I think you will be satisfied. But keep in mind, it only had 6 switched outlets, not 8.

I bought 3 of these because I like their description of their product. Fantastic. The only reason that I did not give a fifth star is that the instructions fail to say that you might have to hold the remote switch for about 10 seconds to turn on and off all of the devices. But, IT WORKS. I found out that I only need two of the three conserve switches, but, I am not giving up my third one. I am sure that I will find a use somewhere else in the house. One remote switch will turn on/off multiple Conserve Switches. Save the other remotes for later.
