If you are buying one for your home, I would recommend it. However, fire extinguishers for businesses and commercial use are required by fire codes to have periodic maintenence which requires them to be discharged, taken apart and re-pressurized. This brand of extinguisher does not stand up well to this process. Therefore, I would only recommend it if it is going to be in your home where it will only be discharged if you actually have a fire. If you are looking for a fire extinguisher for your business, the highest quality and most durable extinguishers are made by Amerex, Sentry, and Pyrochem. |
