I decided to try this fragrance because I just love Queen Latifah. She is an excellent actress and beautiful plus size model. After trying this fragrance I fell in love with it and so did my man. You ask how I know he feel in love with the fragrance? Well simply put whenever he smells it I cross his mind, for example while on his way to pay a bill inside the mall he walked past the fragrance section and he instantly thought of me when he smelled this fragrance. Funny, because he had to call and tell me that a scent reminded him of me. I told him the fragrance name and he then had to make a trip to the counter selling the product to get a better whiff of the fragrance, he even asked the attendant at the counter for a card with the fragrance on it. All I can say is from my experience it drives men crazy and I love it. I even find myself smelling the small of my wrist just to take in the intoxicating fragrance. It is a must keep for me. My mother was in Macy's and received a small trial size vile of this perfume. She knew that I was in the market for a new signature scent, so she asked me to try this. I fell in love instantly! This perfume is just lovely with my body chemistry! When I walk into a room or walk past people, I often hear, "You smell so good! What is that??" It's not too expensive and the bottle itself is a good size so it lasts a while.A few sprays will last all day long, but it's not over powering. It is strong when you first spray it, but after a few minutes it's quickly tamed. It reminds me of Halle but is just as unique. Sweet but not childish. Woody but not masculine, and just a hint of Vanilla. Light enough to wear to work and not offend anyone, but bold enough to command it's presence. It's the perfect combo. I went to the mall today and while walking past the fragrance counters, I decided to see what this fragrance smelled like. I sprayed it into the air to get a whiff, but I didn't smell anything so I sprayed some onto my wrist. On initial application, it was a little strong, but I let it air out for a couple of minutes and inhaled again. Oh my goodness. What a beautiful perfume!It is soft and feminine without being overtly "girly". This is a scent for a WOMAN. There is a sensual, almost jasmine-like quality to this fragrance. It has a caramel and coconut undertone with hints of citrus and a slightly woody base. I am writing this review 6 hours after spraying the perfume on my wrist and I can still smell it. Too bad my husband has a stuffy nose. I believe he would thoroughly enjoy it. I am not only a fan of Queen Latifah, I am a true fan of this perfume. Great job! |
