Someone left the full mop behind when I moved into a new apartment, likely because the mop head was so old that it was unusable. I threw away the old mop head but couldn't find a replacement at any local stores. However, I found this one on Amazon and took a chance. As it turns out, this is a perfect fit. It has the metal bracket and 2 screws to hold it in place, and it's the exact right width (12").
